How do I find my Colorado UI rate?

There are several ways to get your Colorado employer unemployment insurance (UI) rate: by mail, by phone, and online via MyUI Employer.

First, the Colorado Department of Labor & Employment (CDLE) mails UI Rate Notices in November to your organization's address on file; they typically arrive around Thanksgiving week. New employers should receive UI Rate Notices shortly after establishing an account.

If you did not receive or cannot find your Colorado UI notice, there are a couple other ways to get your rate:

  • Go to MyUI Employer, which allows easy access to your unemployment insurance rate information. If you haven't already done so, create a MyUI employer account to quickly access other unemployment information for your organization. Please send your rate to ASAP since we do not have access to clients' MyUI Employer accounts.
  • Call CDLE UI Employers Services at (303) 318-9100 or toll-free at 1-800-480-8299 (option #3). If you have your UI account number, they will provide your rate over the phone. You may want to verify your address on file as well. You can find your UI account number on any of the tax liability reports we send with each payroll, or from a copy the UITRs we have saved in your Client Portal.

What happens if I can't locate my UI Rate Notice? If we do not get a copy of your UI Rate Notice prior to processing your first payroll of the new year, we will create an adjusting payroll entry once the rate has been updated, which will collect or return the variance. We are able to get a master list of rates from the state in late January.

Why didn't I get a Colorado UI Rate Notice letter in the mail? The CDLE mails the UI Rate Notice to your address on file with the agency. Perhaps the mailing address on file with the CDLE needs to be updated. Click here to complete an address update online or via paper form.
